There’s no motion plus emulation support in this release, so it can’t be done right now. That may be something that’s added in the future though! I believe you’d have to have an actual motion plus wii controller to play skyword sword, though I haven’t tried it personally.

I really like this; games like Metroid Prime, F-Zero GX, and Mario Kart Wii are a real delight in VR and they play as if native support for it was added including being able to look around the environment. However, I’ve noticed that performance has decreased as of late when compared to when I first downloaded and tried this. In other words, games that once ran at full speed are now a bit choppy regardless of my settings. Running the same games in normal Dolphin works fine even at 4K resolution. I wonder if something changed with the Oculus VR back-end itself that needs to be reflected in Dolphin VR.

Could someone tell me how to make it so I can ‘move around’ with my pov? In the beginning of metroid prime, I was able to look inside of Samus’s armcanon, but I accidently changed something and now I can’t clip through to see the inside armor.. What’d I change?

By move around, I mean I moved my head close to the head and could see inside of it without using camera controls.

Hi, is there any way to implement hybrid shaders from newer Dolphin builds in a future update?
We’ve been having a lot of sound stutter/lag problems in almost every game. The only way to work around this is to use frame skipping but this work around causes you to lose fps. Thanks.

I stopped working on the emulator when the pricing of the Oculus CV1 and Vive was announced, because it became clear that I wasn’t going to be able to justify buying either of them, and adoption of VR would be slow. I recently got a Lenovo Explorer, but I haven’t gotten back to working on this, considering I have other projects going on. I believe CarlKenner stopped working on the emulator after the official Dolphin team said they would not consider using OpenVR or Oculus SDK, and it sounded like they considered us to potentially be violating the Dolphin license by doing so. After reading it all over, it didn’t seem that way to me, but I’m not a lawyer. I just wanted to play games in VR. It seems unlikely there will be any new updates at this point. The source is out there, so anyone can merge the latest Dolphin changes if they’d like!

Could you maybe do this merge, with one last update? It is really a shame we can’t play half the games in the current build of Dolphin VR because of the sound stutter/lag.

Oculus+Touch Controller bundle is now around $350. I think it’s well worth it now. There are a lot of rally good games in the Oculus store!

Hi, I see you have added options to disable the stars in Wind Waker however they do not work for me on either Open GL or DirectX 11, I have tried everything to disable them to no avail. Have you got any ideas as to what I can do to remove them as it completely ruins the experience for me.
